Will Johnson, the CEO of Visage Energy Corp. has been recognized by the Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) for the leading role he played in establishing and hosting the inaugural Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Stakeholders’ Collaborative Initiative. Visage Energy has continued to grow the initiative as an important forum.

Will has also received several awards for the role that he has played as a minority-owned business in the energy industry. In 1998, Will was designated DOE Outstanding Business Person in recognition of his leadership to expanding market opportunities in the natural gas industry through the creation of the Funds Transfer Agent Agreement. In 2010, along with several other important industry participants, Will was honored as a Champion of Diversity by the Utility Marketplace Access Partnership (UMAP) under the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) and in conjunction with the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC). The Small Business Administration (SBA) has designated Visage Energy a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) (see theSDB certification) and a participant in the SBA’s 8A Business Development program (see the 8A certification). Also, the CPUC Women Minority Business Enterprise Clearinghouse has certified the company as a minority-owned business (WMBE certification.)
